To make beetroot paratha you need one cup whole wheat flour, one grated beetroot, ¼ grated carrot, one chopped green chilli, ¼ cumin powder and garam masala, and salt as per your taste.
Mix the whole wheat flour and add salt as per your taste in a bowl. Make a smooth dough and cover it for 15 minutes.
In a pan, add cumin seeds, grated beetroot, carrot, green chilli, turmeric, red chilli powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix it for 3-5 minutes until the mixture is dry.
Now, divide the dough into small portions. Add a spoonful of beetroot filling, fold the edges to seal and gently roll it out into a paratha.
Place the paratha on a medium heat tawa. Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side with applying ghee or oil.
After making paratha, Place them on a plate with low-fat yoghurt or mint chutney. Enjoy your healthy beetroot paratha as a nutritious breakfast.
