Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries, has recently acquired India's first Boeing 737 Max 9 private jet, valued at approximately ₹1,261 crore (around $150 million)
This ultra-modern aircraft is now the most expensive private jet owned by any Indian businessman.
The plane, which boasts extensive modifications and luxurious features, was delivered after significant upgrades at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg in Switzerland.
The Boeing 737 Max 9 is designed for long-distance travel, capable of covering up to 11,770 kilometers in a single flight
It features a spacious cabin that can be transformed into a flying mansion with a master bedroom, ensuite bathroom, and multiple lounge areas.
After undergoing six test flights to ensure all upgrades were functioning correctly, the jet successfully flew from Basel to Delhi on August 28, 2024.
With this addition, Ambani's fleet now includes ten private jets, reinforcing his status as one of the largest private aircraft owners in India.
